Once line versus multiple groups

There aren't enough links here to justify using multiple groups. A linear scan is much faster than one in two dimensions for a small number of links, so that's what we should go for. This should be reverted. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 11:06, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
