First of all, I apologize for I know that someone will no dobt think that my remark is not done as you would like, but I hadn't hours to spend to find perhaps the right way. I just came to Opel timeline to update my knowledge, only to find, that I can,t trust it know. That,s because there's at least one obvious mistake. - It states, that there,s only one year between Corsa D and Insignia, and as we all know Corsa D has been around more than a year already, and insignia hasn't seen the showrooms yet. I think that there's some other mistakes also, but I leave the editing to those who know better.
I really hope, that someonen who KNOWS and not just thinks he knows, would check and correct the whole table, so that we that come here to knowledge, coult learn and trust.

Dear NaBUru,
First of all, DO NOT rename this template to Opel/Vauxhall vehicles. There were (and are) still differences between Opel and Vauxhall lineups in the period covered. Perhaps a separate Vauxhall template might come in handy, but that would be quite cumbersome. Or perhaps you might want to expand the template to reflect Vauxhall's lineup too, but that might be even more cumbersome (though I can think of some solutions).
Secondly, this template goes at the end of the page, and thus its width is irrelevant - it can use the whole width of the page. Perhaps the "br clear" tag can be added if it overlaps with other templates in shorter articles. It is more clear when spread over a larger area.

- Even if you changed the template's name, you could at least have kept the standarised format (color contrast, decade links, mini MPV / compact MPV / large MPV instead of minivan...).
- My idea is to have in the Template:Modern Opel/Vauxhall vehicles all the shared models, and the separate models in Template:Early Opel vehicles and Template:Early Vauxhall vehicles. It may take a lot of time, but I'll do it. -- NaBUru38 14:16, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, wasn't thinking much, I was very upset by your moving without discussion, and quite against facts - please see Vauxhall Carlton, Vauxhall Astra or Vauxhall Cavalier, as well as Vauxhall Monaro and Opel GT to see why you cannot simply bill this template Opel/Vauxhall. My proposition is - first prepare a new version and accompanying "preceding" templates in your userspace, discuss with other interested members (e.g. posting info here) and only after a consensus is reached, do the changes. This is how this template was created.
- Also, linking to redirects is generally bad practice. Until mini MPV and other articles are created, all links should link to "minivan" directly. Bravada, talk - 14:20, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Hello, and thanks first of all.
I was thinking maybe the Omega is on the wrong category, after all it's a Segment E car (Europe classification), therefore I think it should be on "Executive Car", like Audi A6 and Peugeot 607.
The new Opel Adam is somewhere between a city-car and a subcompact, more like a super-prized City-car, I don't know for sure.
The new Opel Astra Twintop too, named "Cascada" to arrive in the market in 2013, you can put it on a new convertible class.
