Do we actually need this template?

I am really unconvinced by the need for this template to exist at all. The inclusion criteria seem arbitrary, half the elements are red-linked, and a third of what remains is clearly not notable enough to have its own article. I am thinking of boldly merging at least the cobalt, vanadium and helium articles into their parent element/isotope article. The platinum article is more developed but is overly reliant on only three references, so I am unsure about its notability. Choucas Bleutalkcontribs 12:46, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
