Incorrect information

[edit]

I have editted down the template to those restaurants which actually are still Michelin starred. We need to base our information on fact, and while many RedM restaurants were included incorrectly, so were a number of former starred restuarants. Both sets have been removed. Utter nonsense, see: here. Don't you think Michelin would know who they give stars? Night of the Big Wind talk 00:01, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

October 2012

[edit]

David McCann is the head chef at Dromoland Castle per Google! search/official website. I emailed Dylan McGrath at The Commons to ask the first name of Chef Malone. Hopefully he'll respond. Quis separabit? 16:38, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are right that McCann is the present head chef, but he was not the head chef who was awarded the Michelin star.[1]
I am not sure if McGrath has known chef Malone. I guess Malone was already dead when he worked there. Poor Malone could not handle the pressure and died only a year and a half later after he had left The Comnmons Restaurant.[2] The Banner talk 17:34, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Months after the original request at their facebook page, Dromoland Castle replied. Jean Baptiste Molinari was the head chef that was awarded the Michelin star but he left a few months later. The Banner talk 15:16, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bib Gourmand

[edit]

Is there anything to be said for inserting the Bib Gourmand's as well?Financefactz (talk) 19:21, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No, as that will make the template far too big. And the Bib Gourmand has a far lesser status than Michelin stars. The Banner talk 20:17, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
