Use
[edit]I suggest that this template only be used in quotations from bibles that use LORD as a translation of YHVH. It's use in the main text of articles raises POV issues in that it suggests to the reader that YHVH is in some way more worthy of respect than any other god. - Hi Zeimusa,
- You could contribute this suggestion to the discussion currently taking place at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (capital letters)#smallcaps and LORD.

Also, when you copy and paste, you should get "LORD", not "Lord". The latter introduces errors into the text. Fixed. — kwami (talk) 06:21, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
Sometimes they're together
[edit]Is the template appropriate for the construction Adonai Eloheinu (My Lord our God), where the Hebrew has an abbreviated form of the Tetragrammaton and Eloheinu is written out in full? -- Shmuel (Seymour J.) Metz Username:Chatul (talk) 16:59, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
