Eldred G. Smith[edit]

Eldred G. Smith was make "Patriarch Emeritus" in October 6, 1979. However, dose that mean he is no longer the Presiding Patriarch? I was under the impression that being "Patriarch Emeritus" meant you still held that position, but you no longer actively did the work of that position.
