"Weight" is a force and is measured in newtons. The property that is measured in (kilo)grams is called "mass". I think, Wikipedia, as an encyclopedia, must use correct names of physical quantities even if many people confuse them in colloquial language. — Mikhail Ryazanov (talk) 04:23, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
On some pages like: SD card, read and write are used to represent the read and write speeds of the medium. On others, like DVD, it's used for both a short description of how it operates (like the name "Read mechanism" suggests) in addition to the read and write speeds. Additionally, this template is really really poorly documented and I might want to try taking a stab at fixing that. - nathanielcwm (talk) 08:41, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
