Halflife

[edit]

Discrepancy found in halflife data between Roentgenium and Isotopes_of_roentgenium.

282Rg is 0.5 seconds, and 2.1 minutes on the other page. This is a too big difference to account for laboratory measurement deviations. Such as 281Rg, which has 17(+6-3) sec and 26 sec (granted, upperlimit 17+6=23, but 23 sec is close to 26 sec and this is to be expected) Could not find a good source for "better" data. --81.71.202.71 (talk) 18:18, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think the Rg article is giving the 2010 data, while this page has the updated 2014 data from the re-run of the element 117 experiments. I'll go update the main Rg article. Double sharp (talk) 02:53, 7 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also: thank you! This necessitates an update of Rg's atomic weight from [281] to [282], as that is now the most stable isotope of Rg known! Double sharp (talk) 03:00, 7 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
