“Oblast” not given in shortdesc

[edit]

@Jonesey95 Basically the same problem as I mentioned at Template talk:Infobox Israel village, except that here I believe it would be possible to simply add “Oblast” (since Kyiv City, Sevastopol, and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea don’t have hromadas).

IMO it’s a more significant issue than with Israeli villages, simply because Ukrainian oblasts are mostly named after their administrative seats and that could easily lead to confusion. RadioactiveBoulevardier (talk) 06:54, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Formatting of the settlements inside the hromada

[edit]

Ideally, the numbers of different settlements in the hromada could be presented using the "parts" series of parameters from {{Infobox settlement}}. See the infobox template in the article Volnovakha Raion for something that's a little like how this could work. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to actually code what I'm imagining into the template. If any other editor figures out a way to make it work, feel free to make the change to the template. Rural settlements

[edit]

Since urban-type settlements were abolished and merged with rural settlements, it would make sense to merge the two in the infobox as well (here described as "towns" and "rural-type settlements"). Shwabb1 taco 05:36, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
