Top spacing

[edit]

Something in this template is pushing content away at the top. See the gap at the top of Rhodesian Man or Turkana Boy as examples. Is there a fix for that? — Epastore (talk) 03:53, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is still happening in 2012! Please could someone have a look into fixing it. Cheers, Jack (talk) 17:11, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Parameter usage

[edit]

Greetings fellow editors,
I tried to clarify some parameter usage details with this edit. I figured the edits are pretty straightforward and shouldn't be controversial, and the only potentially controversial change that I can think of is the date formatting. Currently, when using the "date discovered" field editors are advised to use the formatting most common to the country where the fossil was found, i.e. either month-day-year or day-month-year. This seems to be the standard now used throughout Wikipedia, and follows WP:MOSNUM. Another point of consideration is whether we ought to use the abbreviation "mya" or "Ma" for the age field or give the age full in words. --Life is like a box of chocolates (talk) 03:02, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
