A very simple guide
[edit]An increased usage of Template:Infobox Former Country in articles on former international organizations, has prompted the need for some kind of instructions on how to adapt the infobox to this purpose.
Currently this template is simply a redirect with a set of easy instructions. Essentially what needs to be done is to disable the autocategorization feature and instead add the appropriate categories manually.
To disable the autocategorization add "|_noautocat = yes" to the template.
Add "Category:Former international organizations" and the start and end years: "Category:YEAR sestablishments" and "Category:YEAR disestablishments".
Apart from that apply the instructions found at Template:Infobox Former Country/Instructions. -- Domino theory (talk) 21:57, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
