Broken template

[edit]

Infoboxes without pictures are displaying like that shown for Sykes Camp. There does not seem to be a way around this. Altstikman (talk) 22:48, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Images

[edit]

I can't get images to work at all. The documentation should show a sample of a blank template. This template needs work. I would also like to suggest the following fields:

 • image
 • imagesize
 • caption
 • established
 • colors
 • mascot
 • campus size

All the current parameters use uppercase first letters. They could all be changed though in the template to be lowercase as most other templates are. -- WOSlinker (talk) 22:50, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Infobox campground
{{Infobox campground
|Name=Camp Kawanhee for Boys
|Image=
|Location=Weld, Maine

I've added support for lowercase attributes and updated the doc to use them preferably. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 14:33, 19 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Here is another sample of the template at work. The coordinates section doesn't seem to work.

Color change

[edit]

Is there a way I can change the heading color to a different color? If not could I get a code to do this? I want to change the color to maroon (#80000) Mfribbs (talk) 02:04, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ask user:WOSlinker. --evrik (talk) 19:16, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've adding a headingcolor param. -- WOSlinker (talk) 22:25, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Camp Kawanhee for Boys

Parameters |facilities=; |water=; |fee=; |fires= are trivia and should not be included, per WP:NOTDIRECTORY. I propose to remove them. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 16:42, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

these seem to be key parameters which describe the properties of the campground, much like the number of floors or height of a building (note that |facilities= is in infobox building as well). however, I could see removing the fee parameter, since that would most likely change more frequently than the other parameters. Frietjes (talk) 14:09, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It is not the mere existence, but the use of the |facilities= parameter which is crufty in this infobox. For example, one typical instance has |facilities=Vault Toilets, Picnic Tables. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 14:34, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Check out the discussion above. --evrik (talk) 20:57, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Broken HeadingColor parameter

[edit]

If you use the default HeadingColor (which is blank), the heading is displayed white on a white background, rendering it invisible.
