Template talk:Ford engine timeline
I have 1998 E350 Econoline van -5.4LT-V8 (WEP). Would like to know what is that unusual sound/noise from the engine, like the Timing Chain is rubbing against the timing cover. The Engine fires right up without any signs of misfiring or out of timing. But the sound/noise is always there. Was bought used at 177,864 miles in 3/27/2009.
Today is 189739 miles after 18 months or 11,875 miles from the first starting. Anybody out there facing this situation can point me to where to look before tearing down. Appreciate your help and informations, Jimmy. You can e-mail me: simi@hawaiiantel.net
