Start of Development Date

[edit]

Start of Development in openSUSE Timeline Template is the date of release of first Milestone release ( which is the terminology of opensuse for Alpha release ), I think this is a more accurate definition while in Fedora timeline template the start of development is the release of the previous .this is very strange and inaccurrate indicator.

I suggest to use the first definition on both openSUSE and fedora timeline templates. Melnakeeb (talk) 12:27, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest to also change Development to Development, test version published as in Template:Timeline openSUSE Melnakeeb (talk) 12:43, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Update for F41 needed

[edit]

It looks like this needs to be updated for each new release. Would it be possible to fetch the data from wikidata so it just needs to be entered once for all? I just added the eol dates for some recent versions there.

Furthermore I wonder whether that design is still practical, the current versions are off the right edge. David-ri93 (talk) 18:34, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
