UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS

This template (specifically, {{User:EnterpriseyBot/defcon}}, which this template transcludes) is updated every hour by User:EnterpriseyBot. Previously, User:DefconBot updated the page {{User:DefconBot/defcon}}. If the bots are down, however, human editors are required to update the template.

IMPORTANT: Before updating this template, please check [1] to see if the pages have been updated recently. If the bots are running properly, please do not edit this template; bots are more efficient than humans.

Instructions for manually updating the template when the bot is not running

To manually edit the template:

1. Go to User:EnterpriseyBot/defcon.

Note: Enterprisey's tool does not work.

2. Change |level with respective level according to current RPM stats from either Huggle or Enterprisey's tool. The RPM to Level is shown in the #Levels table below.

3. Change |sign with ~~~~~

4. Change the numer in |info with the current RPM stats from either Huggle or Enterprisey's tool

Note: Please don't touch the other parameters because it will affect how the template is displayed.

Instructions for manually updating the template when the bot is giving inaccurate stats

To manually edit the template, change the >|level, >|sign, and |info> parameters to |level = {{WikiDefcon/levels|REVERT PER MINUTE}} |sign = ~~~~~ |info = REVERT PER MINUTE stats according to [[User:YOUR USERNAME|YOUR USERNAME]]. The revert per minute stats can come from either Huggle or Enterprisey's tool. Please don't touch the other parameters because it will affect how the template is displayed.

For instance:

|level = {{WikiDefcon/levels| 5 }} means 5 reverts per minute
|level = {{WikiDefcon/levels| 10 }} means 10 reverts per minute
