Rationale

Not sure where to put this, but such a large caliber gun on a single-engine fighter is unusual enough by itself. Other possible DYK may be that the gun tended to wreck the host aircraft's piping or that aiming the gun for more than one shot was not practical. The latter two are more difficult to word concisely and drift a little into the less objective domain. Someone not using his real name (talk) 20:58, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
