Factual yes. But nothing so great that it needs to compose a DYK. A star is a basic symbol and anyone can have one if they want. Bosnia's flag now has more stars than it did when it was part of Yugoslavia, representing the very body to astroturf the fall of Yugoslavia (the EU or EEC). Australia has stars, representing the Southern Cross constellation. Turkey has a star, representing Islam. Burkina Faso has a star and all for its own reasons. The red colour star was merely a communist symbol and it is not as if the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia kept it for a long enough time to be substantial. Not everybody embraces the removal of a red start from their flag. --Edin balgarin (talk) 09:29, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
