Migrate, author enumeration, or move authors to the end?

[edit]

I've started a discussion on the fate of the Grove family of templates ({{GroveOnline}}, {{NewGroveJazz2002}}, {{NewGrove2001}}, {{NewGrove1980}}, {{Cite Grove1900}}, & {{Grove1900}}) at:

Template talk:GroveOnline#Migrate, author enumeration, or move authors to the end?.

If interested, please discuss there.   ~ Tom.Reding (talkdgaf)  17:50, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback wanted on new Grove citation templates

[edit]

Hi. I've started a discussion which may interest the community around this template. You can find the discussion at Template talk:GroveOnline. Feedback and comments would be much appreciated! Cheers, --Xover (talk) 18:32, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fixing |author-link= as an outgoing parameter as done by User:Jonesey95 recently was a good thing, but the template ought to accept the same hyphenated version as input parameter as well. Otherwise, global search & replace operations in articles will lead to undetected loss of information. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 03:15, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
