Reformat without Template:Cite web

[edit]

Would it be possible to reformat this template more along the lines of Template:CIC1983, without removing any of the options this one has, so as to eliminate those pesky quotation marks around every citation? Not a big deal, but if someone who knows how could do this, it would make this much more aesthetically pleasing. Deus vult (aliquid)! Crusadestudent (talk) 06:02, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Also, being able to wikilink the "CCC" part to Catechism of the Catholic Church and hyperlink the rest to vatican.va, which Template:CIC1983 is able to do, would also be a plus. Deus vult (aliquid)! Crusadestudent (talk) 06:05, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, sorry to revert your edits. The main reason was the output formatting had errors. Also, I had written this to match the most consistently used formatting found in the article, and think that the paragraph symbol might cause issues for some users. I do not think that it would be useful to pipe the CCC, ### to the catechism article, (I do not favor putting wikilinks to different articles in close proximity), but this might be easily done for the long version. --Zfish118talk 20:28, 31 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mistake

[edit]

In the second line of the documentation, we see this: <ref>{{CCC|paragraph_number|date_accessed}}<ref>. The final ref is missing a closing /. --BrianCUA (talk) 18:45, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
