[edit]

I changed this stub so that it points to the article "Celt" rather than "Celts", which does not exist. --Sean Lotz 08:42, 21 August 2006 (UTC) You can help![reply]

Triskelion or High Cross?

[edit]

I wouldn't get into an edit war about it, but I do have a bit of a problem with pre-Christian gods and myths being designated with a High Cross. This does make a little sense for Ireland, where monks were writing the Irish mythological corpus at roughly the same time the High Crosses were being erected; but not much sense for ancient Gaul, for example. (Gaulish religion might be represented instead by a wheel motif.) I'm suggesting the triskelion as an alternative because, evoking as it does a common theme in La Tène art, it's a design with more widespread relevance geographically. Does that sound good?
