The result of the proposal was no consensus. This editor seems to have gone inactive and hasn't responded to queries on his or her talk page. Absent interest on the move either way, he or she should feel free to carry it out, as long as he or she sees to the relevant cleanup. --BDD (talk) 17:52, 5 March 2013 (UTC) (non-admin closure)[reply]
This is a bit tricky. I'm supportive of the overall goal here, but we probably ultimately want {{Canada-athletics-bio-stub}} to redirect to {{Canada-sport-bio-stub}}, and the latter is used in almost 700 articles. Perhaps we could temporarily deprecate Canada-athletics until its current uses are cleaned up, and then redirect it to Canada-trackandfield? On the other hand, compare to {{US-athletics-bio-stub}}. Perhaps it would be better to just leave this alone. --BDD (talk) 18:03, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
