Death reporting numbers
[edit]On the changing of the death numbers @24.16.143.160:
The deaths have been tracked as of the date they were reported by DOH. The numbers were collected by people checking the DOH Coronavirus page each day and logging the change. However, around 4/1 DOH added some additional reporting which showed slightly different death numbers. This is because it is based on the date of death rather then the date of the report. Date of death data is latent by a few days and consequently can change for several days. Until the pandemic is no longer an on going event I propose we report deaths by date reported rather then the actual death dates for simplicity and stability in the daily numbers. The note of 60 death previous to Feb 28 is not accurate either. The first death in Washington was Feb 29th. Lomanban (talk) 22:51, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
