Chris Lee Chun Kit, the state assemblyman of Pulau Tikus, said that the new route and service (CAT Tanjong Tokong) is an extended version of the Pulau Tikus Loop, and it has also increased from ome bus to four.
We are proud to announce that Congestion Alleviation Transport (CAT) Free Bus Route has been extended to Tanjong Tokong, replacing the previous CAT Pulau Tikus Loop (PTL) Free Shuttle Service.
CAT PULAU TIKUS - TANJUNG TOKONG
Will begin services on the 7th of July 2018 (Saturday). Kindly refer to the previous Facebook post for details of the new route.
I am flabbergasted! User: *angys* actually had the cheek to post on my talk page that my source is outdated. Okay, so for the record, my source is outdated, and all there is to prove that my source is outdated is a site in Chinese? Are the editors here in English Wikipedia able to comprehend, much less read, Chinese characters? IMHO, not only does the Chinese site goes against WP:NONENG (especially when compared to the English news site I posted above), the user's supporting argument via a Facebook page is not in accordance with WP:SOCIALMEDIA. I am calling for a third opinion for this issue, as I do not see any valid reason whatsoever from this user that the Pulau Tikus Loop should be removed from the template. I interpret this news story "The Tanjung Tokong/Pulau Tikus loop" as confirmation of the replacement/extension/revamp of the Pulau Tikus loop. So on balance of probabilities I would accept the statement put out on social media by Chris Lee Chun Kit (which itself bends WP:SOCIALMEDIA a little too far). Thanks for pointing this out, @Batternut:. The article does point out the existence of a Tanjung Tokong/Pulau Tikus loop. However, it does not conclusively confirm in any way that the Pulau Tikus Loop has been terminated. IMO, until its cancellation is reported by a reliable source and as per WP:WAIT, it would be more prudent to retain the Pulau Tikus Loop entry. Vnonymous (talk) 07:35, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
