1972 qualification round??
[edit]Why is the 1972 UEFA European Championship qualification round deleted? Now it says "Qualified as hosts", which was absolutely not the case.
Belgium qualified after a group stage and by winning their quarter-final against Italy. As 1 of the 4 Semi-finalists to go through to the final tournament, the Belgian FA lobbied to get to host it.
Can someone undo this? If not, I will. ProudTarjaholic (talk) 12:26, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
