Which closed airports to include in this navbox
[edit]How does one decide which closed airports to include and which to exclude? Currently, Stone Mountain Britt Memorial and Parkaire Field are included. I can understand including Stone Mountain, which closed relatively recently in 1996. Parkaire Field closed in 1972, however, and there are no traces left of the airport... it's just a mixed commercial and residential area now. Morris AAF used to exist in Forest Park, too, and closed after Parkaire did, but it's not included on this list. There are also former airfields from that era that were in Lithonia, Cumming, and Stockbridge.
In lieu of any consensus criteria for this list, I'm removing Parkaire Field. It has no wiki entry, has been closed for decades, and has no notability criteria that I can establish. I welcome any additional discussion on this issue, though.Jhortman (talk) 03:23, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
