Color

[edit]

Would appreciate help with the sorting (by province), and some identifiable colour scheme as well. Sherurcij (Speaker for the Dead) 18:08, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Prettiness" wasn't a good enough reason? :Þ Sherurcij (Speaker for the Dead) 00:52, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The title of the template is "Alleged Afghan Training Camps" but the template also includes a camp located in Bosnia and camps located in other counties. Should we change the title or should we remove camps that are not located in Afghanistan? IQinn (talk) 09:56, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest to remove the camps that are not located in Afghanistan and will do so in a few days if there is no objection. IQinn (talk) 05:35, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Done. IQinn (talk) 22:59, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Why didn't you consider rewriting the intro rather than removing information? Geo Swan (talk) 00:47, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The change of the default state of this template to "autocollapse"...

[edit]

There were two discussions in March 2010, over when navigation templates should be collapsed.

User:Iqinn had been inserting explicit "state=autocollapse" on every instance they found, of certain navigation templates. They were inserting these explicit "state=autocollapse" with no explanation whatsoever.

In the March 2010 discussion Iqinn did offer explanations of sorts, for inserting those "state=autocollapse".

I think it was very clear, from those discussions, that no one accepted Iqinn's perceptions that the navigation templates violated WP:NPOV as a valid justification for autocollapsing templates. I encouraged Iqinn, many times, in many discussion pages, to address the perception that a navigation template was biased through discussion, on the navigation templates talk place.

I think it was very clear, from those discussions, that while certain wikiprojects have decided through consensus, that their navigation templates should have the property "state=autocollapsed" single individuals should not go and change this property on existing templates. The March discussions concerned over-riding the default state on specific instances. I believe this advice applies to changing the template's default state to autocollapse.

Yet Iqinn has changed the default state of this template to autocollapse, without any explanation whatsoever. Geo Swan (talk) 18:19, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That is absolutely wrong. I did not recently modify the default state=autocollapse of this template nor at any other template. The editor who put this message up here User:Geo Swan has a long history of disruptive behavior including attacking other editors based on false information. I am going to strike his uncivil disruptive attack post. IQinn (talk) 22:51, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I stand corrected. Iqinn did not recently change the template's default state. The record does show they continued to autocollapse templates, without explanation, after the discussion above. Geo Swan (talk) 13:01, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's wrong again. Geo Swan continues uncivil personal attacks are disruptive. IQinn (talk) 13:10, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
