replace ~~<noinclude></noinclude>~~ with ~~{{^}}~~ for slightly faster loading CrazyBoy826 22:14, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. I don't know if this template is ever substed, but this proposed change would change its behavior. Right now, substing this template produces a signature. With the proposed change, substing the template would produce ~~~~ (wikitext ~~{{^}}~~). This could be a significant change and should be discussed. – Jonesey95 (talk) 01:38, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Jonesey95, a quick search shows that it is indeed substed by approximately 30 templates. —andrybak (talk) 11:28, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please sync with sandbox. This makes the template require substitution per Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2024 July 13#Template:~~~~. Thanks, Queen of Heartstalk 00:36, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

withdrawing for now, this seems to have a ton of transclusions as examples of how to sign. Queen of Heartstalk 00:53, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
