This is a route-map template for Wilson, a rapid transit station in Chicago.

Note: Per consensus and convention, most route-map templates are used in a single article in order to separate their complex and fragile syntax from normal article wikitext. See these discussions [1],[2] for more information. This map depicts the second phase of the reconstruction of station, which took place in 2016.

During this phase (which began on March 21, 2016) the new Track 1 (the westernmost track) was placed in service as was the new southbound platform. Southbound Red Line trains were routed onto Track 1 just south of Lawrence and shared this track with the southbound Purple Line Express trains. In the morning rush period, southbound express trains continued making stops at Wilson and Sheridan, but discontinued serving Addison.

The existing structure supporting Track 2 was demolished allowing for the construction of the structure supporting the northern portion of Track 2.
