Usage

The {{WikiProject Australian Roads}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters to use, it has a number of required ones for assessment and maps as well as optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax of the template and the most commonly used parameters are as follows:

Unless the article is about a subject that encompasses multiple states, always specify the state with state=. Use the two-to-three letter abbreviation. To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.

Parameters

Accepted values are case insensitive unless otherwise specified. Alternate values are in italics. All parameters are optional unless otherwise specified.

needs-rjl	yes no	Indicates whether the article needs a road junction list. If the article does not require a RJL, use no. If the article has a RJL that is properly formatted (per MOS:RJL and WP:AURD/RJL), use the attention-rjl parameter instead. If not specified, mainspace articles will default to |needs-rjl=yes.
