This template should be placed on template subpages where CSD T5 deletion ("unused template subpages") either does not apply or is otherwise contestable. Templates marked with {{T5-exempt}} should be taken to TFD if deletion is desired.

Parameters
[edit]|reason=– add "because ..." phrase to the message text, with the value of the param replacing the existing text.
Categorization
[edit]Such templates are categorized within Category:Templates exempt from speedy deletion as unused subpages. If this template is put in any other namespace by mistake, the page will be categorized in Category:Misused t5-exempt template.
