Template:Synchronized skating program list
Season | Short program | Free skate program |
---|
This template is a slight adjustment on Template:Figure skating program list to make it usable on Synchronized skating pages. it is an easier alternative to create program tables for Synchronized skating team biographies, and it satisfies the latest accessibility criteria for data tables. It can be used to list the competition and exhibition programs for a Synchronized skating team.
Currently, a maximum of 20 seasons can be added per table and 6 exhibition programs per season. It is possible to add multiple short and free skate programs per season.
Should adjustments be made to include synchronized skating to the corresponding figure skating template this template will be disused and replaced in any pages used.

Annotations and parameters
[edit]Global parameters
- This template uses the default caption "Competition (and exhibition) programs by season". For a different caption, use the parameter
|caption=
. - If the table is only meant to be a shortlist without program details, set the parameter
|shortlist=yes
. - Make sure to list the seasons chronologically from first to last, not in reverse order. This makes the addition of new seasons easier and is in accordance with the Wiki Manual of Style.
- For adding exhibition programs to the list, set the parameter
|exhibition=yes
. - For referencing the full table with one bundled inline citation, use the parameter
|ref=
.
Season parameters
- For the season, use the format "YYYY–YY" with an en dash (example: 2010–11).
- For additing the title of the short and free skate program, use the parameters
|SPx=
and|FSx=
. For more details about the composer, choreographer, and other information, use the template {{FS program}}. - For adding exhibition programs to the list, use the parameters
|EXx=
and|EXx_y=
(example:|EX14_3=
gives the 3rd exhibition program in the 14th season block). In case of multiple exhibition programs per season, make sure to add their number to|EXnum_x=
(see examples below). - If a team does not have a short, free skate, or exhibition program in a particular season, leave the respective parameters empty.
- If a team changes their competition programs mid-season, start a new season block and leave
|seasonx=
empty. Use the parameter|spanx=
in the previous season block with the total number of spanned rows (see example below). - For referencing the short and free skate programs of single seasons, use the parameter
|refx=
. A suitable source is the skater's or team's official ISU profile page. This is required if no bundled source is available. - For referencing exhibition programs, add the inline citation right after the program title.
Formatting rules for program titles
According to MOS:MUSIC, music titles must adhere the following formatting rules:
- Generic classical pieces like Ballades, Nocturnes, or Piano Concertos must be written in standard font.
- Major works like movies, musicals, or operas (e.g. The Phantom of the Opera) as well as major classical pieces (e.g. Moonlight Sonata) must be italized.
- Song titles (e.g. "Bohemian Rhapsody") must be written in standard font and placed in quotation marks.
