Template:Singular link/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Performs the "Word-ending links" or "linktrail" technique in reverse. Allows a link to be easily generated that displays the singular form of a word while linking to the plural form. Defaults to removing "s" from the end of the link as displayed.

Usage

[edit]

The article name to link to is the first unnamed parameter. The suffix to remove is the second unnamed parameter (defaults to "s" if left blank). For titles or suffixes that include an equals sign (=), specify the first and second parameter using |1= and |2=.
