This is an alpha-quality template to calculate senior status eligibility for U.S. federal judges.
Parameters are |born= and |appointed=, each of which takes a year value.
If the sum of |born= and |appointed= is greater than 79, the template outputs "Yes". If not, it outputs "No".
Do not use this template in articles until it has been fully tested.
