I puritani (The Puritans) is an 1835 opera by Vincenzo Bellini, set to an Italian libretto by Count Carlo Pepoli. This aquatint shows the set design for the Hall of Arms in act 1, scene 3, as it appeared at the opera's premiere at the Théâtre-Italien in Paris in January 1835.
