For images that are believed to be public domain in the United States but not in its home country. Includes {{do not copy to Commons}} and also adds the page to Category:Files ineligible for copyright in the United States but not in their source countries.

Wikimedia Commons has media related to Template:PD-text.

Use the following templates to tag images which are not eligible for copyright protection:

| {{PD-ineligible}} | Use when there are no better options. This is a very general that just says the image fails to pass the threshold of originality and does not qualify for copyright protection. |
| {{PD-ineligible-USonly}} | Same as above, except when the image is believed to be below the threshold of originality in the United States but not its home country. |
