Usage
[edit]The template is used in the Administrative divisions of the federal subjects of Russia series of articles. All articles reference the same document (Russian Classification of Objects of Administrative Division, or OKATO), which is periodically updated by the Russian government. Using the template allows editors to avoid having to manually change the document revision number in all articles of the series. Once an amendment is issued and the articles are corrected accordingly, it is only necessary to change the revision number in this template.
The template parameter is the number of the OKATO section assigned to the federal subject (e.g., Altai Krai is 01, Kursk Oblast is 38, etc.).
