- Baltimore Black Sox and Philadelphia Bacharach Giants withdrew as independent teams.
- Brooklyn Eagles join at Ebbets Field.
- New York Cubans join at Dyckman Oval.
- Homestead Grays return to the league at Greenlee Field
- Chicago American Giants move back to Chicago, returning to the now renamed Cole's Park.
- Nashville Elite Giants move to Columbus as the Columbus Elite Giants, at Neil Park.
- Newark Dodgers leave General Electric Field and play at Ollemar Stadium in Irvington, New Jersey.
