1933 NLL season changes:
- A second Negro National League was formed, consisting of:
- Baltimore Sox at Bugle Field
- Chicago American Giants initially at South Side Park in Chicago, before being kicked out early in the season and playing in Indianapolis, at Perry Stadium
- Columbus Blue Birds at Neil Park. The team disbanded and merged with the independent Akron Black Tyrites after the first half of the split season. The Akron Black Tyrites joined in place of the Columbus Blue Birds as the Akron Grays at League Park before they moved to Cleveland and became the Cleveland Giants, playing one game at Luna Park.
- Homestead Grays at Greenlee Field
- Indianapolis ABCs initially at Perry Stadium in Indianapolis, before quickly moving to Hamtramck Stadium in Detroit as the Detroit Stars
- Nashville Elite Giants at Tom Wilson Park
- Pittsburgh Crawfords at Greenlee Field
