For the 2024-2025 session, the 35th legislative district of the New Jersey Legislature is represented in the General Assembly by Shavonda E. Sumter (D, Paterson) and Benjie Wimberly (D, Paterson). The 221st district's seat in the State Senate was vacated upon Nellie Pou's swearing into the U.S. House of Representatives.[1]
