However, MEPs' membership of European parties is not direct but via their national party, and affiliations are checked and published by the Authority for European Political Parties and European Political Foundations (APPF). The number of MEPs of each European party will therefore be updated via the MEPcountEuropeanParty template once the APPF publishes new official data. |
Template documentationThis data template provides the current number of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) members of each European political party. It is based on Template:MEPcount, which lists instead the number of MEPs members of Political groups of the European Parliament.
The source data is published by the Authority for the European political parties and European political foundations (APPF)[1] at: https://appf.europa.eu/appf/en/parties-and-foundations/registered-parties.

Usage
