This template creates a link to subpages at Crown–Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada) that provides a reference for details on a particular First Nations. The main search page to get the required information is here.

Usage

The template has four parameters and all are required.

The first must be one of the following:

  • FNMain - this will provide details on a First Nations
  • FNReserves - this will list all the reserves, settlements or villages of a First Nations
  • FNGovernance - this will give the governance or councillors of the First Nations
  • FNRegPopulation - this will give the registered population of the First Nations
  • FNLanguage - this will give the language characteristics of the First Nations
  • RVDetail - this will give information on an individual reserve, settlement or village
  • TCMain - this will give information on the Tribal Council

The second parameter is the number associated with one of the above.

The third is the name of the First Nation, the reserve or the Tribal Council.

The fourth is the date you retrieved the information. It should be in the same format as the rest of the article.
