Template:Election box begin no party no change AU/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

These election box templates are for displaying a list of candidates and results for Australian elections that were not contested by parties. They are intended to have a similar look to Election box candidate AU party, particularly for pages that span eras, such as Electoral results for the district of Parramatta. They produce tables like this:

1882 New South Wales colonial election: Parramatta
16 October
Candidate Votes %
Hugh Taylor 595 51.52
James Farnell 364 31.52
Cyrus Fuller 196 16.97
Total formal votes 1,155 97.12
Informal votes 33 2.78
Turnout 1,188 77.24

Usage

[edit]

Basic

[edit]

There are six templates used in the example above:

The begin and end templates start and end a table with appropriate columns and formatting. The candidate template is used once for each candidate and contributes a row to the table. If there is a wikipedia page for the candidate, this should be linked.

Using the example above these are :

Election box end
