Template:Dlib/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage

[edit]

The general format is the following: {{Dlib|parameter=value}}

This parameter is mandatory and creates the link to three types of records.

Type

[edit]

The optional 'type' value is |type=short, which creates the link to a shorter record without an image that may be used in any of the following ways: {{Dlib|type=short|urn=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-CE1XKRPV}}

This code creates the link: Document in the dLib.

URN

[edit]

The most specific parameter is urn, which specifies the link to a single record (article, image etc.) within dLib. In dLib, this ID is written in the metadata footer of the relevant document. Example: article »Nastanek mesta Gorica – dileme in nove perspektive« in journal Kronika 55 (2007) - at dLIB (here) – contains the URN in the footer: URN:NBN:SI:DOC-CE1XKRPV. The relevant value to be used is therefore URN:NBN:SI:DOC-CE1XKRPV:

{{Dlib|urn=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-CE1XKRPV}}

This syntax creates the link

Document in the Digital Library of Slovenia.

The default text 'Document' may be used with the additional parameter title. For example:

{{Dlib|urn=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-CE1XKRPV|title=Nastanek mesta Gorica - dileme in nove perspektive}}

renders as

Nastanek mesta Gorica - dileme in nove perspektive in the Digital Library of Slovenia.

Name

[edit]

The parameter name specifies the ULR with the search string in the dLib containing the author's name. The syntax:

{{Dlib|name=Lojze Kovačič}}

renders as

Lojze Kovačič – author's works in the Digital Library of Slovenia.

whereby the link leads to a list of the given author's work (i.e. Lojze Kovačič in the given example). Such a link does not distinguish authors with precisely the same names, but you can use the full syntax (i.e. names in addition to one first name and one last names) to make the link more specific.

Source

[edit]

The parameter source specifies the link to point to a dLib search string containing the name of this publication. The syntax

{{Dlib|source=Illyrisches Blatt}}

renders as

The material published in Illyrisches Blatt in the Digital Library of Slovenia.

whereby the link leads to the list of works published in a certain source (journal, newspaper etc.) in dLib (i.e. Illyrisches Blatt in the given example).
