- Reviewing...New enough, long enough, interesting. Will complete and ping Whispyhistory (talk) 09:24, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
- * No copyvio issues, reads well. Hook facts in article and followed by inline citations with hook fact. The founding of his company, Opéra Français de New York, is cited using a non-English source but I can see the fact here if you think it should be added. QPQ has been done. Thank you Whispyhistory (talk) 14:12, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you, also for the extra source, will hopefully remember to add. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:25, 15 December 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but as much as you want to show he's all over the place, this hook is also neither here nor there. How about cutting off some of his resume and adding something that sounds hooky?
- ALT1: ... that the Canadian Yves Abel, chief conductor of a German symphony orchestra, founded the company Opéra Français de New York which focuses on rarely played French operas? Yoninah (talk) 11:31, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
- As you like it. I think that La Scala is attractive, and like to point at Tim riley's ROH (as I like to point at Handel in a hook on the Main page right now), and I believe that being all-over-the place is characteristic of this particular person. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:23, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you. Restoring tick for ALT1 per Whispyhistory's review. Yoninah (talk) 20:43, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
- A new reviewer is needed to check the new material found in ALT1. The prose in the article is a bit rough in places; I've copyedited the intro, but the rest could use some improvement before this hits the main page. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:26, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
