Wildlife of Antarctica
[edit]- ... that adaptations of the wildlife of Antarctica (icefish pictured) to survive the cold include growing blubber, having antifreeze in their blood, and digesting themselves to a juvenile state?

- but I am a new reviewer so we need a second opinion. This is a wonderful article, amazing that the topic is new (and it does indeed seem to be) with over 20k text. The article hasn't been assessed but it is clearly way beyond a stub. Exemplary in style, nicely referenced. I found no copyright or close copying problems. I can't fully fathom the licensing of the albatross photo.[1] The hook is good and OK on length (in particular I satisfied myself that "digesting themselves to a juvenile state" is adequately referenced). QPQ OK. Hook photo licensed OK. A suggestion: in the hook, link the word "antifreeze" to Cryoprotectant keeping "antifreeze" in the text. Thincat (talk) 15:27, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
