Western jumping mouse
[edit]- ... that the western jumping mouse (pictured) hibernates for up to ten months each year?
- Reviewed: Gilbert-Shannon-Reeds model
5x expanded by Anaxial (talk). Self nominated at 12:20, 14 July 2013 (UTC).
- Well sourced, and good job of translating the technical writing of the sources into more-readable English. Long enough (even not counting the list of subspecies), and 5x expansion verified. Interesting hook, verified from source. The image source can no longer be verified but I'm assuming in good faith that it really was a USFS image when it was uploaded to commons four years ago. Good to go. I added a wikilink on the word hibernates in the hook, so that it doesn't just link to the topic article, and added (pictured) as is standard for DYKs with photos; hope that's ok. —David Eppstein (talk) 23:59, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
