Vahram Papazyan

Created/expanded by Proudbolsahye (talk). Self nom at 23:28, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

  • Reviewing: Date and length check out, going to check the text, etc. a little later. --kelapstick(bainuu) 21:34, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Is there a QPQ reviewed for this?--kelapstick(bainuu) 21:34, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
  • At the time I made the DYK for this article. I had less than 5 DYK's. I can make a QPQ if need be. Proudbolsahye (talk) 21:36, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
  • You have 9 DYK templates on your talk page with date stamps prior to 4 February, so yes it will be required. I will continue to review the article in the mean time. --kelapstick(bainuu) 22:13, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
  • All checks out. Article is good to go. --kelapstick(bainuu) 22:32, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
  • This nomination should probably be merged with the one for Vahram Papazyan.--Carabinieri (talk) 04:12, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Also the article should probably be moved to Vahram Papazyan. No need for disambiguation. --kelapstick(bainuu) 04:31, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
  • The title must remain so because the other Vahram Papazian is also known as Vahram Papazyan as well. Question: If we combined these two hooks...what will happen to the pictures? I would really love to see both of them go up. Proudbolsahye (talk) 04:33, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
  • One could be spelled with a "y" and the other with an "i", with hat notes on each, making sure the reader is directed to the correct page, typically we don't have DAB pages for only two entries. As for the pictures and a merge, only one could be used I reckon. --kelapstick(bainuu) 04:44, 22 February 2013 (UTC)\
  • You can do that....but it would be utterly confusing. Proudbolsahye (talk) 05:41, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

  • Suggesting a combined hook for the two Olympians, since the two are identical except for the names and images. (Because of this, it's virtually impossible both would be selected for lead hooks if they remained separate.) ALT1a uses the Papazyan image; ALT1b uses the Mıgıryan; I'm listing the pictured athlete first, though this can be adjusted.

Vahram Papazyan

Migir Migiryan

These can also be reordered (and slightly rewritten) so the names come first:

BlueMoonset, once again thank you for contributing to my DYK's. This brought me great joy because the hook looks very good and appealing! I like ALT2a a lot (with Papazyan's picture). I would like to go with it. Proudbolsahye (talk) 06:02, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Can we get a reviewer to confirm that ALT2a is approved (and maybe the rest of the double hooks)? (Note: will want to check the Template:Did you know nominations/Migir Migiryan template as well as this one for confirmation that both articles have been approved.) Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 07:06, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

Both hooks were approved with effectively the same information. I had approved already this one, and have double checked Migir Migiryan. ALT2a is good to go. --kelapstick(bainuu) 07:21, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
