Uthapuram

[edit]

5x expanded by Gfosankar (talk). Self-nominated at 16:04, 7 March 2017 (UTC).

  • Article is expanded 5x and nominated within date range. QPQ done. However, it talks only about the wall and related incidents with it. Nothing about the village as such. I believe it fails WP:DYKSG#D7. - Vivvt (Talk) 18:55, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
  • The village known for that wall and its issues only.Gfosankar (talk) 05:12, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
    • The village should have its own info like schools, hospitals, post office, some geography, river information. Map would be great. Coordinates or something about location. Only wall info might get this article deleted. - Vivvt (Talk) 14:13, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
      • Please read about WP:RS for references like this. - Vivvt (Talk) 04:01, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
        • @Gfosankar and Vivvt: There seem to be some problems with this article, as Vivvt has pointed out; but I think the neatest way around them would be to move the article. The village may be inherently notable, but has no substantive coverage; whereas the wall clearly does. So change this to an article about the wall, add a little more detail there, and create a stub for the village itself. This nomination can then move forwards. • Gfosankar has not edited on Wikipedia in over a month, and thus has not dealt with the issues raised here except for adding a single reference to the article in that edit right after Vivvt's March 29 post. Since a not-insignificant amount of work still needs to be done here, I think it's time to close this nomination as unsuccessful. BlueMoonset (talk) 00:04, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
