  • The fact used for the hook must have an in-text citation directly after it. ViperSnake151  Talk  06:59, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
@ViperSnake151:, I have done as you instructed. Jupitus Smart 08:10, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
Upon further review, it still needs a little bit of work. Needs some copyediting for clarity, one statement implying a reference to a date or time period only gives a vague "until recently". ViperSnake151  Talk  15:45, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
Addressed date issues, @ViperSnake151:. Jupitus Smart 16:13, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
@Johnbod:, I am not sure what never located means in this context. Anyway I have removed the overlinking of Kumbakonam. Do look. Jupitus Smart 03:25, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
You have to tell people WHERE THE TOWN IS - Tamil Nadu, India, the world..... 1st line. Johnbod (talk) 13:30, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Fine. I have added that as well. Is there anything more that is bothering you, @Johnbod:. Jupitus Smart 13:37, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
@ViperSnake151:It would be nice if you could complete the review. Jupitus Smart 12:41, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
It is now acceptable. ViperSnake151  Talk  15:26, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
  • I struck the first hook; grammatically, it sounds like the temple was cured of vitiligo. ALT1 seems to be redirecting the attention from the main subject to Vikrama Chola. It would make more sense if Chola prayed at that temple for 48 days. Yoninah (talk) 00:38, 4 August 2017 (UTC)

@Yoninah: - Vikrama Chola camped near the temple, when the presiding deity of the temple appeared to him in his dream and asked him to perform certain 'devotional' tasks to be cured off vitiligo. This included praying to a stone manifestation of the god in a nearby river among other penances. So technically he did not pray at the temple to be cured off vitiligo (at least that was not the major place he had to pray at). However since the deity of the temple cured him, he decided to expand the temple. ALT1 seems to convey the message. An improved version could be as below. Jupitus Smart 09:08, 4 August 2017 (UTC)

  • Thank you, that works! It doesn't look like this nomination received a full review, so here it is: New enough, long enough, neutrally written, adequately referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. ALT2 hook ref verified and cited inline. Images in article and hook freely-licensed. QPQ done. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 14:11, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
