The Last of Us

[edit]
  • ... that The Last of Us explores the possibility of humans becoming infected by Cordyceps, a fungus known to take control of the motor functions of insects?

Improved to Good Article status by Rhain1999 (talk). Self-nominated at 10:55, 15 April 2015 (UTC).

  • Recent GA (15th), long enough, neutral, no copyvio found via spot check, QPQ done. Main hook doesn't have an immediate ref in article (see 3b—refs need to be immediately following the fact used in the hook). Eh, I just went to add it myself but the nearest footnote said nothing of Cordyceps nor its function. ALT1 and ALT2 check out and are good to go. ALT2 preferred. Can re-review the main hook if it's fixed, but otherwise, looks like I'll be seeing this one at FAC. czar  15:19, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the review, czar! I just thought I should say that, if you'd prefer to use the main hook over ALT1 or ALT2, I can go through and try to add the fact and reference to the article; it should fit in there somewhere. Let me know. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 15:39, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
Your call. It would be worth fixing the reference in the article anyway, but I think either the ALT2 is the strongest. Leave a note if you don't want this to be promoted while you fix up the main, otherwise we're good to go on ALT2. czar  18:24, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
If you think ALT2 is the best (and I do agree with you there), then we should go with that one. I'll still add the reference to the article, anyway, since I believe it should be included on there, but I'm happy with ALT2. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me)
